Welcome to the  Chicago ROTC Fire Battalion Reserve Officer Training Corps  Cadet and Alumni website. This website offers members a means to network with each  other, share stories, discuss events, plan events, mourn lost loved ones, post  jobs and resumes, allows all ROTC Alumni to become members, and much more.

Membership is open to all current ROTC cadets and alumni of the Chicago “Fire Battalion” schools, having received their commissions, continuation students having  completed the ROTC program, former U of Illinois at Chicago ROTC students, selected honorary  persons, ROTC department heads, and friends of the ROTC at the University of  Illinois at Chicago campus. The membership directory reflects the bond between  ROTC alumni, and their purpose to promote and support the ROTC programs at the  University.

Cadets have Summer Training Opportunities to go on fully covered trips (room, board, and food) by the U.S. Army in order to train in real Army environments with real Army units. These training opportunities are not only domestic, but also located all over the world.

These Summer Training Opportunities range from training with the U.S. Special Forces (Robin Sage summer training), to learning how to jump out and parachute out of U.S. airplanes (Airborne School). Find out how you can take advantage of these summer training opportunities.
